Define the same purchasing requirement
A difference in the kilogram price does not, on its own, show which quote suits your business. Products may be priced for different applications, quantities or delivery terms. Start with a shared specification: coffee category, whole beans or ground coffee, delivery location and net weight per order.
Compare espresso, filter and Turkish coffee separately. A shared monthly purchasing total does not mean these services require the same product or recipe. Coffee for your drinks menu and coffee packaged under your own brand also have different purchasing scopes.
Use a consistent quote record
- Product name, composition and intended service.
- Net pack weight and packs per case.
- Total net kilograms per order and minimum purchase.
- Quotation currency and validity date.
- Whether VAT and freight are included.
- Whole-bean or ground format.
- Payment, delivery and repeat-order terms.
Missing information makes a price difference difficult to interpret. A one-off promotion and a recurring supply agreement may have different conditions. Any quoted delivery period or price commitment should be stated explicitly.
Convert pack prices into a comparable unit
Divide the product amount by the order’s total net kilograms. As an illustrative calculation, 9000 TL for 10 kg equals 900 TL per kilogram. This is not a current Neroya price. Use the same VAT and freight basis for both quotations.
Review the service recipe separately. At 900 TL per kilogram, an 18 g dose contains 16.20 TL of coffee. This covers the coffee used. Include preparation losses using your own records rather than an assumed saving percentage.
Complete the price comparison with a product trial
Evaluate coffee using your machine, grinder and drinks menu. Record the recipe, adjust the equipment for the product and then assess the drink, setup losses and service workflow. Results from different equipment do not necessarily represent the same operating conditions.
A short purchasing record can include the product, net kilogram price, order amount, recipe, trial notes and delivery terms. This makes the decision traceable when ordering again.
